Caleb Stine
Caleb is a Baltimore-based singer songwriter. In 2021 he released The Life And Times Of A Handyman. Michael Ivan created a series of photos and a music video for the project. Over the course of two months, shooting both digital and medium format film, the collection includes concert photography, behind-the-scenes images, and portraiture stills. A music video created for the opening song of the album, Looking for Someone to Love, directed by Michael Ivan, utilized footage from several of Caleb’s concerts and a studio shoot. The photos continue to be a vital source to promote Caleb’s projects and concerts.
“I needed photos and a video at a time when I had a very full schedule: gigs, soundtrack work, and an album release. Michael Ivan made it very easy—he came to three performances where he fit right in and captured beautiful and spontaneous images. With one additional afternoon shoot, he had enough footage to edit together a compelling music video and I was given more high quality stills than I could have hoped for. Michael Ivan’s easy, friendly personality is evident right off the bat, but don’t let him fool you, he’s also a killer photographer who gets the technical parts done with no fuss or muss. Five out of Five stars.”
