You only get 12 photos on a roll of 120 medium format film. It also costs about $3 for each photo between film, developing, and scanning. So, when I bring out the 1960’s Mamiya C3, I’m much more thoughtful about each shot. There were a couple of good ones in this session, but this one wins my fave. I love the parallel expressions of each person, the dust cloud of color in the background, and the clear glasses in Diana’s hand. The film already gives it a textured look, but for me, this one seems even more painterly than the rest (which you can see below).
