Kitefest at Patterson Park, sponsored by the Creative Alliance turned out to be a beautiful day and space to snap some old school film with my Mamiya C3. Trying to balance the colors of the kites along with the blue sky and green field was a bit of a challenge. I love how this image captures the quantity of kites and people, while still focusing on the parent and child in the foreground. Not far from here a group of friends play Ultimate Frisbee - a community I’ve been a part of since I moved to Baltimore in 2003. Below are some fun ones of that crew’s animal fans. I’ll be sharing some more Ultimate friends photos another time.
